Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Risk Manager for BID Plymouth Hospital to lead the Risk Management Office and drive a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. The role oversees all claims management, event reporting, and risk-reduction strategies to protect patients and staff.

Under leadership, you will manage risk programs, conduct RCAs/FMEAs, and partner with legal and regulatory bodies.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare (Nursing or Allied Health).
Current Massachusetts license to practice from MA Board of Registration.
At least 2 years of experience in Healthcare Risk Management or Patient Care Management.
Certification in risk management (CPHRM) or obtained within the first year of employment.

Mansioni

Lead the Risk Management Office and advance a culture of safety and high reliability.
Oversee claims management, event reporting, and risk reduction initiatives.
Ensure timely investigation of sentinel events and adverse events (within 72 hours).
Lead RCA/CCR, FMEA, and other performance-improvement activities.
Support disclosures with patients and families and communicate with leadership.
Collaborate with leaders to track adverse outcomes and claims activity.
Design and deliver Risk Management education for staff and physicians.
Act as hospital liaison for legal process and regulatory reporting.
Report risk experience and improvement efforts to Administration.
Contribute to strategies for highly reliable clinical systems and patient safety.
