Job Summary

Apply advanced knowledge of risk management programs, practices, and concepts to help leadership identify and mitigate potential risks across multiple disciplines, including third-party/vendor risk, operational risk, internal audit, data privacy, and business continuity planning.

Essential Functions

1. Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain best-in-class risk programs and manage the control environment.
2. Monitor controls effectiveness and advise on current or potential exposure points and automation opportunities.
3. Analyze performance data to identify trends and gaps, working with business leaders to mitigate risks.
4. Ensure business owners are prepared to demonstrate command of operating risks to stakeholders, supporting the development of risk appetite frameworks.
5. Assist in designing, collecting, tracking, and reporting key risk metrics for senior leadership.
6. Mentor and guide junior team members.
7. Assess risks and implement actions to address root causes of operational losses.
8. Resolve complex issues using analytical and critical thinking skills.
9. Partner with information security and legal teams on data privacy initiatives related to vendors.
10. Ensure prompt and effective actions to address significant risks.
11. Build relationships across the business to understand and meet customer requirements.
12. Oversee preparation of operational risk reports for governance, leadership, and regulatory bodies.
13. Support audits and regulatory examinations as needed.
14. Update risk management policies and related materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 15 years of experience in risk management
• Senior-level experience with audit, vendor risk, and data privacy/security methodologies
