Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Risk Management professional based in Ohio, with the ability to visit the Dublin, OH office monthly and quarterly. The role supports the Global Risk Management team, including property, casualty, and executive risk programs, and requires driving data analysis, audits, and process improvements across departments.

The ideal candidate will have 1–3 years of risk management experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and designations such as ARM/CPCU are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field, or equivalent experience, preferred
• 1-3+ years of Risk Management, underwriting, brokerage, or related experience, with a preference of medical office insurance experience, preferred
• ARM, CPCU, or other related risk/insurance designations, preferred
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong planning and organization skills; attention to detail while balancing multiple deadlines
• Self-motivated with a sense of urgency
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Excel skills preferred
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting with occasional in-office meetings
• Risk Management Information System experience, preferred

Responsibilities

• Collects, prepares and analyzes risk exposure data for various property and casualty insurance policies
• Becomes a subject matter expert as respects to the Risk Management Information System
• Creates loss experience reports using the RMIS on a scheduled and ad hoc basis
• Processes invoices, manages vendor payment profiles, and updates cash flow and accrual forecasts
• Supports captive insurance administration, including premium allocations and claim reimbursements
• Recommends and implements process improvements and improves written procedure documentation
• Completes assignments for risk management projects, including audits, integration of acquired companies, insurance premium audits
• Provides back-up support when other Global Risk Management team members are out of the office
