Job summary

Revel Group, based in Knoxville, seeks an experienced Risk Manager to oversee commercial insurance, claims, and risk controls across multiple entities and locations. You’ll partner with Finance, Operations, HR, Safety, and Legal to keep insurance programs accurate, drive renewals, and monitor risk exposure.

Strong analytical, communication, and Excel skills are essential to manage data, ensure compliance, and support loss prevention in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of progressive experience in commercial insurance or risk management.
• Experience supporting or managing commercial insurance renewals.
• Knowledge of policy administration, endorsements, certificates of insurance, deductibles, and exclusions.
• Experience with brokers, carriers, TPAs, adjusters, and/or claims professionals.
• Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, communication, and deadline-management skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to organize and analyze data.
• Ability to work across multiple locations and teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day administration of commercial insurance programs across entities and locations.
• Coordinate annual renewals with brokers and carriers, gathering exposure data and documents.
• Prepare renewal submissions, loss runs, exposure data, and supporting information.
• Review policies, endorsements, certificates, limits, deductibles, and exclusions.
• Oversee day-to-day claims process, communicate with adjusters/TPAs, and track outcomes.
• Monitor open claims and loss trends; partner with operations to reduce risk.
• Maintain insurance records, payroll exposure, renewal dates, and program docs.
• Coordinate workers’ comp and liability audits; ensure timely submissions.
• Assist with budgets, premiums, reconciliations, and insurance-related reporting.
• Support risk assessments and loss-prevention initiatives across properties.
