Job summary

CNA seeks a senior Risk Control professional to manage complex accounts within Construction. You will deliver risk assessments, provide consulting, and drive underwriting collaboration to improve profitability and loss ratios.

A strong background in insurance risk control, excellent communication, and leadership are essential. The role requires engagement with underwriters, brokers, and field leaders, with 20–40% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Ten years of risk control experience in insurance/risk management.
• CSP, ARM or similar designations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage with underwriting to drive BU strategies and participate in industry events as needed.
• Optimize distribution engagement with agents and brokers to provide customer solutions.
• Serve as the Risk Control account executive for assigned large/complex accounts.
• Deliver risk assessments and consulting services with field leaders to drive outcomes.
• Develop global account strategies to positively impact loss ratios and profitability targets.
• Support BU leadership with technical risk control expertise and ongoing learning.
• Review and evaluate large risks, applying risk control policies and regulations.
• Present capability, stewardship, and offerings to clients and partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners.
