Arrayo is hiring a Senior Risk Consultant to join a large-scale Risk Transformation program within major financial institutions. You will own end-to-end workstreams on counterparty credit risk, SR 11-10, and remediation efforts, presenting directly to senior risk stakeholders.

You'll operate as a practitioner rather than a pure advisor, translating regulatory findings into actionable plans and collaborating across Risk, Compliance, Audit and business units to land change.

About the role

Arrayo builds and embeds senior delivery teams inside the risk and regulatory functions of major financial institutions. We're hiring a Senior Risk Consultant to join a large-scale Risk Transformation program, working alongside a senior Arrayo consulting team on second-line risk governance, framework assessment, and regulatory remediation.

Counterparty credit risk is the anchor. SR 11-10 knowledge is mandatory for this role. But the program moves, and so will you. As priorities shift you'll pick up work across model risk, regulatory compliance, controls and issue remediation. This is a role for someone who wants range, not a narrow lane.

It's also a practitioner's role, not an advisory one. You'll own workstreams end to end, produce the analysis and the deliverables yourself, and hold your own in front of senior risk stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Assess frameworks, governance and controls against regulatory expectations, and translate findings into actions that owners will accept and act on.
• Move across adjacent regulatory initiatives as program priorities evolve — model risk, regulatory compliance, law libraries, controls mapping and issue management.
• Work directly with Risk, Compliance, Audit and business stakeholders to build alignment and land change across functions.
• Produce senior-quality written deliverables — assessments, target-state designs, evidence packages — that stand up to regulatory and audit scrutiny.

What we're looking for

• Hands-on counterparty credit risk experience with direct exposure to SR 11-10 (mandatory for this role).
• Second-line or equivalent risk background in a large, regulated financial institution: risk governance, regulatory remediation, framework assessment.
• A genuine generalist within regulatory risk. Comfortable pivoting between topics and getting productive on an unfamiliar one quickly.
• Demonstrated track record of developing remediation plans and driving them to closure.
• Senior practitioner credibility: able to operate as a peer with risk executives and program leads, not as support.
• Strong written communication. Much of the output is read by senior management, internal audit and regulators.
• Ability to mobilize quickly, work pragmatically, and stay commercially sensible.
