Job description

Eclipse Consulting is a high-growth consulting firm that helps clients turn complex data into transformative action. As we scale rapidly—with a goal to grow the business 10x over the next three years—we are expanding our Risk & Regulatory Practice and hiring a Non-Financial Risk (NFR) Senior Manager to support this next phase of growth.

This role requires strong management consulting acumen and the ability to contribute meaningfully to practice growth across Non-Financial Risk and Regulatory Compliance. The successful candidate will align closely with firm objectives while proactively supporting senior leadership through research, ideation, and execution of strategic initiatives. A strong understanding of consulting commercial drivers and sales methodologies is essential, with the ability to actively support revenue growth through sales enablement, strategic relationship management, and disciplined use of sales tools and processes. Deep expertise in Non-Financial Risk within financial services is critical, along with the adaptability to support broader initiatives as business needs evolve.

In addition to client delivery, this role demands operational and people leadership excellence, including the consistent delivery of high-quality outcomes and close collaboration with Data Management teams in alignment with the Eclipse Service Delivery Framework. Success requires an understanding of how risk and regulatory requirements depend on strong data governance, data quality, lineage, and reporting, enabling practical, end-to-end solutions that meet both regulatory expectations and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply deep domain knowledge and management consulting discipline to shape, lead, and manage complex client engagements for risk and regulatory initiatives, including Risk & Controls, Operational Risk, Technology Risk, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), remediation, data governance, and compliance transformation across regulated industries, including financial services clients.
  • Guide clients specifically through regulatory strategy and risk governance program design, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and business objectives.
  • Lead compliance transformation initiatives, translating regulatory requirements into practical, executable delivery programs.
  • Continuously deepen technical and industry expertise while remaining flexible to support adjacent practices when client needs require.
  • Achieve target project utilization of 80% by actively originating and supporting opportunities aligned to personal expertise.
  • Own an individual annual sales production target that scales year over year, contributing directly to practice and firm revenue goals.
  • Collaborate with Data, AI, Technology, and other practices to deliver integrated, end-to-end regulatory and compliance solutions.
  • Contribute to firmwide knowledge sharing through mentoring, training, development of reusable assets, and creation of delivery playbooks.
  • Lead initiatives focused on improving the scalability, consistency, and efficiency of regulatory and compliance offerings.
  • Identify gaps in tools, methodologies, or regulatory capabilities and propose practical enhancements to strengthen client impact and expand practice depth.
  • Lead client delivery within the Service Delivery framework, ensuring high-quality outcomes, regulatory accuracy, and strong client satisfaction.
  • Effectively manage and mentor Managers, Senior Consultants, and Consultants through clear expectations, coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
  • Drive utilization across the broader team through proactive staffing, demand planning, and aligning work with team capabilities.
  • Ensure operational rigor across forecasting, time tracking, risk management, and delivery governance for all assigned engagements.
Experience and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline strongly preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in risk and regulatory compliance, with demonstrated success in leadership roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Extensive experience managing large-scale consulting engagements and delivering measurable results.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including interpreting complex regulatory content for business audiences.
