Senior Risk & Compliance Analyst - Hybrid, Atlanta or Columbus, GA

Summary of This Role

Provides support for the development, implementation, and enforcement of the IT Risk program, including risk analysis, risk intake management, risk and issue management, and risk assessments. Performs risk management and assessment functions related to technology risks. Develops processes for reporting and data analysis to minimize risk exposure. Consults with managers and executives on related issues. Ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations and conducts regular training on compliance issues.

What Part Will You Play?

• Collaborates with team members to develop IT risk management practices, focusing on overseeing IT risk / issue management and performing IT risk assessments. Uses technical skills to identify and address issues across various technology stacks and components.
• Participates in IT risk activities across the company. Assists in overseeing IT risk issues, including the analysis of IT applications, processes, and systems, and their impact. Helps create the IT risk assessment roadmap, identifying gaps, emerging threats, financial exposure, and client impact, and collaborates on remediation plans.
• Assists in risk assessment initiatives such as SPOF assessments during mergers and acquisitions. May require international travel.
• Maintains a centralized risk management repository related to compliance, conformance, and key risks within risk tolerance guidelines, with mitigation measures.
• Supports the development of IT risk reports for business units, executives, and the Board, meeting regulatory requirements and aiding risk-based decision-making.
• Presents updates on IT risk priorities and monitors significant risks to ensure active management and reporting.
• Helps improve IT risk procedures, practices, and methodologies to maintain a proactive, risk-based compliance program. Adapts to industry changes to sustain competitive advantage.
• Adheres to operational risk policies based on global regulatory guidelines and industry standards. Verifies implementation of IT risk management processes.
• Other duties as assigned, including additional hours and some travel.
• Work hours: Monday - Friday, standard business hours. Hybrid work model, 2-3 days onsite at Atlanta or Columbus, GA offices.

What Are We Looking For in This Role?

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field from an accredited university, or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Typically 4+ years of related professional experience.
• Strong technical skills or aptitude.
• Assertive work ethic with a passion for work and leadership, strong multitasking, analytical, networking, communication (verbal and written), and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in a related field.
• Prior experience with Global Payments, payment, or technology industries is preferred.
• Certifications such as PCI Professional (PCIP), SSCP, CISSP, AWS Cloud Practitioner, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, GRCP are advantageous.
