Summary of This Role
This role involves supporting the development, implementation, and enforcement of the IT Risk program, including risk analysis, risk intake management, and risk assessments. The analyst performs functions related to technology risks, develops reporting processes, and ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Regular training on compliance issues is also part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to develop IT risk management practices, oversee risk/issue management, and perform risk assessments using technical skills.
- Participate in IT risk activities across the company, including identifying and analyzing IT applications, processes, and systems, and creating risk assessment roadmaps.
- Assist in complex risk assessments, such as SPOF assessments during M&A activities, which may require international travel.
- Maintain and administer a centralized risk management repository, ensuring conformance within risk tolerance guidelines.
- Develop and present IT risk reports for business units, executives, and the Board, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Recommend and implement improvements to risk procedures and practices to maintain a proactive compliance program.
- Adhere to operational risk policies based on global regulatory standards and assess the implementation of risk management processes.
- Other duties as assigned, with some travel required; work hours are Monday - Friday, with a hybrid schedule (2-3 days onsite) based out of Atlanta or Columbus, GA.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience in a related field; relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Typically at least 4 years of related professional experience.
- Strong technical skills or aptitude, assertive work ethic, excellent communication and presentation skills, and ability to multitask and analyze.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a related field.
- Previous experience at Global Payments or in the payment/technology industry is preferred.
- Certifications such as PCI, SSCP, CISSP, AWS, CRISC, CISA, CGEIT, or GRCP are advantageous.
