Job summary

Independence Blue Cross, LLC in Philadelphia, PA, seeks a Senior Risk Analyst to lead the development and ongoing refinement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework. You will partner with business leaders to identify, assess, monitor, and report risks that affect strategy, regulatory compliance, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, Business Administration, Economics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Compliance, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of ERM frameworks such as COSO ERM, ISO 31000, or comparable methodologies.
• Experience facilitating risk assessments, maintaining risk inventories, and developing risk reporting and dashboards.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, problemsolving, and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support the development and enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
• Maintain risk identification, assessment, and management tools (risk taxonomy, inventory, and profile).
• Execute enterprise-wide risk assessments to identify, evaluate, monitor, and report key risks.
• Collaborate with leaders to integrate risk practices into business processes and decision-making.
• Develop risk dashboards and reporting for senior leadership, risk committees, and ARMC.
• Represent the organization in industry forums and external risk activities.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
