Job summary

Blue Cross NC, a leading health insurer, seeks a Director of Enterprise Risk Management to design, execute, and continuously improve its ERM framework. You will partner with executive leaders and governance bodies to embed risk thinking into strategy and operations.

You will lead the ORSA process, coordinate risk assessments and stress tests, and deliver risk reports to the Board and committees while promoting a strong risk culture across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, finance or business administration.
• 10 years of experience in risk management and consulting or public accounting.
• 5 years leadership experience CRM, CRMA, ARM or CPA.
• In lieu of degree, 12+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Direct all aspects of enterprise risk management and support throughout the organization to achieve business objectives and strategies.
• Promote organization-wide understanding of enterprise risks and risk management strategies.
• Lead ORSA process including enterprise risk assessment, stress testing, and annual ORSA report preparation.
• Prepare risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership, risk committees, and the Board.
• Monitor risk appetite metrics, KRIs, and emerging risks and report to management and the Board.
