Job summary

Edwards Moving & Rigging seeks a Leadman to supervise rigging crews in active field environments. You will direct Riggers and Apprentices, ensure tasks align with lift plans and safety standards, and model professional leadership on site.

Responsibilities include mentoring staff, coordinating crew activities, and ensuring high standards of quality and safety while supporting project execution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years of heavy rigging or related industry experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced rigging techniques.
• Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to read and interpret lift plans, rigging plans, and engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Direct and support the daily work of Riggers and Apprentices.
• Serve as the working leader of the crew while actively participating in field operations.
• Ensure assigned tasks and safety expectations are understood.
• Mentor less experienced employees in rigging techniques and company procedures.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a productive work environment.
