Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years of demonstrable experience as a rig electrician.
• Experience with single- and three-phase systems, power generation, and PLC controls.
• Functional literacy and ability to read electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with rig manager to plan maintenance and repairs.
• Provide weekly updates on electrical supplies and tools.

Skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Knowledge of hydraulics

Proficiency with Pason and other related systems

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Education

Valid journeyman card and license from the State of Alaska
