Job summary

Fortress Financial Partners is seeking a hands-on Director of Operations to own the day-to-day operations of a dual-registered RIA and broker-dealer. You’ll drive client-service workflows, onboarding, transfers, and billing while building scalable processes for growth.

Ideal candidate has 5+ years in wealth operations, strong knowledge of custodial platforms (Schwab preferred), and experience with CRM/workflow tools. Expect a high-impact, detail-oriented leadership role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in operations or client service at an RIA, broker-dealer, wealth firm, or custodian.
• Strong working knowledge of RIA/BD account operations and custodial platforms (Schwab preferred).
• Experience with wealth-management CRM/workflow tools and advisory billing.
• Proven ownership through completion and ability to turn messy processes into repeatable ones.
• Sharp attention to detail, calm under pressure, and team coaching ability.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily workflow of the client service and operations team, prioritizing items and ensuring follow-through.
• Oversee account lifecycle operations: onboarding, transfers, establishment, maintenance, and custodial requests with documentation and tracking.
• Maintain custodial relationships, resolve escalations, and reduce delays and rework.
• Drive CRM discipline and workflow standards with clean data and SOPs, plus automation where possible.
• Lead billing support and cross-training; implement operational improvements during growth.
