Job summary

Takeda is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison to join the US Medical team. This field-based role focuses on analyzing and interpreting complex scientific data, disseminating insights to KOLs/HCPs, and linking customers to Takeda to advance medical strategy and patient outcomes.

You will build professional relationships with KOLs/HCPs across territories, support sponsored research and investigator-initiated studies, and ensure compliant, timely medical communications while traveling up to

Qualifications

• MD/PhD or equivalent preferred; MSN/NP/PA min.
• Minimum 2 years as an MSL in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Ability to travel up to 70% with overnight/weekend travel.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas and ability to translate insights for external experts.
• Compliance with legal, regulatory, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and interpret complex scientific information for KOLs/HCPs in a compliant and fair-balanced manner.
• Disseminate scientific data to external audiences while maintaining scientific integrity.
• Support Takeda-sponsored research and assist with investigator-initiated studies.
• Identify and cultivate partnerships with KOLs/HCPs and Takeda US Medical.
• Contribute to medical strategy during conferences and meetings.
• Respond to unsolicited HCP medical information inquiries.
• Maintain CRM entries and complete administrative tasks accurately and on time.
