Job summary

Qualifications

• Required: BSEE, MSEE preferred, RF design focus.
• 6+ years experience with switch/RF IC design.
• Experience with HFSS, Cadence and ADS for RF IC design and evaluation.
• Experience simulating GaAs/Silicon/SiGe switches/LNA/RF ICs in Cadence and ADS.
• Experience with laminates to support switch/RF IC evaluation and characterization.
• Hands-on ability with VNA’s and spectrum analyzers for small-signal and linearity measurements.
• Knowledge of EM simulators like Momentum, HFSS.
• Experience with Front End Modules and remote engineering teams.
• Ability to work independently and meet aggressive schedules.

Responsibilities

• Define switch/LNA/RF IC specifications with marketing and design teams.
• Design, layout and evaluate laminates for switch characterization.
• Troubleshoot RF measurement issues with HF/MW equipment.
• Collaborate with module teams to integrate RF ICs into modules and optimize tradeoffs for cost-effective solutions.
• Guide product engineers during production readiness, develop test plans and support yield optimization.
• Provide feedback to modeling/tool providers to improve design software predictability.
