Job summary

Ceragon Networks is seeking a Wireless System Engineer to lead architecture for 5G backhaul products. You will work in a multidisciplinary R&D team, defining hardware, firmware and software requirements and coordinating with engineering groups.

You will analyze customer needs, shaping product direction and supporting field trials and production processes. A B.Sc in Electrical Engineering and at least 4 years designing telecom systems, RF and DSP, are required.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience with system design from concept to complete telecom product.
• Understanding of digital signal processing and Modem is essential.
• Experience in defining and working with RF systems is required.
• Experience in defining SW & HW requirements and supporting design teams is needed.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multi-tasking, dynamic environment.
• Self-learner with ability to lead new subjects from scratch and guide others.

Responsibilities

• Define the architecture of the product, targeting the Wireless Backhaul market for 5G deployments.
• Define hardware, firmware and software requirements while supporting other R&D and engineering teams.
• Support field trials, customer challenges and production processes.
• Understand and analyze customer needs and market trends.
