Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems - Research & Advanced Design (R&AD) seeks a Principal Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our Melbourne, FL on-site team. You will apply cutting-edge technologies to DoD programs, conducting RF tests, data analysis, and demonstrations to advance battle-management capabilities.

The role requires a STEM degree and an active US Secret clearance (or higher). Travel up to 25%, ability to lift 75 lbs, and willingness to work in diverse environments are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 5+ years of related experience, or Master’s with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year.
• Active US Government Secret clearance (or higher) with background investigation within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation enrollment.
• Ability to obtain/maintain SAP clearance.
• Experience with RF test equipment for system verification & validation.
• Ability to generate test plans, procedures, and reports for DoD programs.
• Willingness to travel within CONUS up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and analyze RF systems testing and integration activities.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, procedures, and reports for DoD programs.
• Oversee instrumentation setup, configuration, and management.
• Plan and conduct field demonstrations and exercises.
