Job summary

Mini-Circuits in New York, NY is seeking a hands-on supervisor to lead the Engineering Production Test Department, oversee test activities, and ensure compliance with ISO procedures. You will personally perform complex RF tests, review data, and drive production efficiency.

The role involves coordinating with international teams, managing ECOs, and mentoring staff, with opportunities to advance and contribute to product lifecycle management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (BSEE).
• US Citizenship or permanent resident status due to ITAR.
• 7+ years related RF component testing experience.
• 3+ years robotics testing experience is a strong plus.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Extensive experience with RF test equipment (NWA, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).
• Ability to create flow charts and interpret data.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve all engineering and production sample data.
• Prepare and review test data for internal/external company websites.
• Distribute and oversee completion of test jobs/projects from various units.
• Prepare and approve production test specs and block diagrams for manual & automatic testing.
• Coordinate calibration and maintenance of test equipment.
• Prepare ECO’s via PLM according to ISO procedures.
• Oversee design/build of prototype test fixtures for manual/automatic testing.
• Review/test methods and specs with engineers; manage JIRA tickets.
• Identify staffing and facility needs to improve efficiency and output.
• Ensure policies and procedures are enforced; hands-on test as needed.
