Job summary

Echodyne, a leader in compact solid-state radar, is hiring a Sr Manufacturing Test Development Engineer to design and optimize production test systems ensuring high-quality, scalable manufacturing. You will collaborate with design, quality, IT and production teams to implement robust test processes across the production line.

Qualifications

• BS or higher in electrical/electronic/mechanical/test engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in a Test Engineering role developing manufacturing test solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define radar manufacturing test requirements and test station design requirements.
• Design, implement, and maintain test hardware and software for the production line.
• Support test systems throughout the full lifecycle of development, implementation, scaling, and refinement.
• Work with manufacturing engineers, software engineers, quality engineers, design engineers, and IT to integrate and support test systems.
• Plan and execute evaluations of new or updated test processes to ensure accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with requirements.
• Select, evaluate and integrate test instrumentation.
• Monitor and analyze test data to drive continuous improvement in yield, throughput, and quality.
• Create documentation and provide training to production staff on test procedures and tools.
• Work with contract manufacturer partners to create, implement, and support test processes.
• Optimize test strategy for efficacy, efficiency and return of investment.
