Job summary

Echodyne seeks a Manufacturing Test Development Manager to lead a team of test engineers and technicians, designing and developing manufacturing test solutions to ensure radar devices meet quality standards and design specs.

You will work with design, systems, and software teams to define coverage, develop new test processes, and drive improvements. This exempt role offers a generous benefits package and a salary range reflecting senior responsibility in the US.

Qualifications

• Experience leading test engineering teams in electronics manufacturing.
• Expertise designing and fabricating custom test systems.
• Proficient in statistical data analysis to improve test processes.
• Ability to learn advanced RF microwave technology; radar/RF measurement instruments preferred.
• Strong collaboration and problem-solving to address priority issues.
• Knowledge of computer interface protocols.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Manage a staff of test engineers and technicians to support production test systems.
• Define test coverage with design, systems, and software teams to ensure product quality and production efficiency.
• Design and release new manufacturing test processes and hardware/software.
• Coordinate with third-party test integration companies.
• Develop DFT guidelines to influence radar designs.
• Support RF/high-speed PCBAs; manage PCBA testing at suppliers and internally.
• Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement in test processes.
