Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Senior System Development Engineer for the Leo Payload and Terminals group. You will design, build, and maintain RF lab infrastructure, enabling real hardware test environments and lab automation for RF devices and Linux-based software in a high-availability setting.

You will act as a liaison between software and hardware teams, drive DO/ATP/QTP/DT testing, and help scale verification frameworks to support rapid development cycles.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Technical Expertise in RF testing equipment (VSA, VSG, GNSS simulators, switches), RF up/down converters, time-varying channel emulation and automated testing environments.
• Integration and continuous support of complex RF devices, testing equipment and Linux based software systems.
• Strong RF problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities with the added ability to work individually and as a member of a team.
• Experience managing software development, including integrating, troubleshooting and diagnosing RF related software bugs.
• Strong project management, communication skills and technical writing.
• Experience with RF testing equipment automation using SCPI and a various RF equipment Python libraries like PyVisa.
