Job summary

E-Space in the United States seeks an experienced RF/microwave systems engineer to help design and deploy next‑generation satellite radar and sensing capabilities. You will develop RF requirements, analyze signal chains, and coordinate with hardware, FPGA, embedded, and test teams.

The role requires a bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering and 6+ years of RF/microwave systems experience, with US citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering and 6+ years of RF/microwave system experience.
• Experience with RF budgets, phased arrays, receivers/transmitters, calibration, and laboratory measurements.
• Proficiency with RF simulation and test tools; ability to translate system performance into requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop RF requirements and budgets for gain, noise, dynamic range, linearity, phase, timing, spurious response, and interference.
• Model and analyze antenna-to-digitizer and transmit/receive signal-chain performance.
• Define calibration, monitoring, built-in test, and fault-isolation approaches.
• Coordinate with array hardware, FPGA, embedded, signal processing, mechanical, power, thermal, and test teams.
• Support component selection, supplier reviews, lab characterization, design reviews, and anomaly resolution.
