Job summary

Teradyne is seeking an experienced RF Systems Engineer to define instrument architectures and translate RF technology trends into product capabilities. You will own system-level requirements, drive architectural trade-offs, and guide cross-functional teams through design, validation, and release across hardware, software, and calibration domains.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of engineering experience in systems engineering or senior technical roles.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor test systems and related electronics.
• Ability to translate trends into architectural choices and product roadmaps.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define RF instrumentation requirements, system architectures, and roadmaps.
• Translate customer needs and market trends into capabilities and priorities.
• Guide RF concepts, balancing features, performance, cost, and schedule.
• Develop system requirements, use cases, and performance budgets.
• Drive alignment across cross-functional teams and mentor others.
• Provide system-level direction through design, validation, and release.
• Engage with customers and field teams to identify RF test challenges.
