Job summary

Two Six Technologies is seeking a Senior RF Systems Engineer in Herndon, Virginia to develop software for DSP/SDR systems. You will lead architecture design, software development, testing, and debugging for R&D programs, with the freedom to select SDR platforms and toolchains.

The role focuses on RF signal generation, protocol analysis, and signal reverse engineering. The position requires a DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and at least 5 years of DSP/SDR experience, plus strong RF

Qualifications

Active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility required.
Minimum 5 years of DSP and SDR development experience.
Extensive RF reverse engineering experience including deriving transmission parameters.
Ability to generate and synthesize complex RF signals and waveforms.
Experience in SIGINT, commercial telecom, cellular, or general communications systems.

Responsibilities

Reverse engineer COTS devices to map reception logic and generate downlink messages via simulated signals.
Reverse engineer RF protocols to decode PRN codes.
Synthesize and generate custom RF waveforms from reverse-engineered parameters.
Detect, identify, and decode captured RF waveforms and signals.
Implement SDR solutions in a Linux environment with existing COTS platforms.
