Job summary

Echodyne Corp seeks a Senior Electrical Sustaining Engineer, RF, to maintain long-term performance and manufacturability of radar products. You will diagnose defects, implement durable design updates, and guide production support across multiple radar lines.

You will own RF investigations, drive corrective actions, and collaborate with Systems, Firmware, Test, and Quality teams to ensure robust subsystem performance throughout product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Understanding RF fundamentals and metrics (gain, NF, P1dB, IP3, return-loss, bandwidth)
• Experience with RF lab equipment (VNAs, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters)
• Experience interpreting S-parameters, Smith charts, and stability/noise models
• Experience driving RCA/CAPA efforts and leading technical investigations
• Familiarity with DFM/DFA/DFT practices for RF circuits and manufacturable PCB layouts
• Ability to interpret schematics and guide design updates across subsystems
• Experience collaborating in a cross-functional hardware environment

Responsibilities

• Lead RF root-cause investigations, failure analysis, and corrective/preventive actions for radar components and subsystems
• Perform RF debugging, measurements, and data analysis on radar RF assemblies
• Develop, verify, and document RF design updates driven by reliability or lifecycle needs
• Evaluate alternate RF components and support qualification of replacements
• Analyze production and test data to identify trends, escapes, or performance drifts
• Support manufacturing in improving RF test coverage, debug flows, and yield
• Collaborate with Systems, DevOps PCB, Firmware, Test, and Quality teams to maintain robust subsystem performance
• Contribute to ECO packages and sustaining documentation
