Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a Senior Software System Engineer to join the Detection and Measurement group in the TCI segment. The role focuses on RF signal acquisition, geolocation, and analysis systems used for Signal Monitoring and COMINT applications.

You will develop software architectures, implement new features, and provide technical support across engineering, marketing, and customers globally. Strong RF, DSP, C/C++, and Windows expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive design, implementation and testing of complex realtime multithreaded software applications.
• Extensive C/C software development experience (6 years).
• Radio Frequency (RF) theory and practice.
• RF Signals expertise including modulation, demodulation, decoding and analysis.
• Programming for Windows OS and networking/sockets.
• Ability to learn large C code bases and write automation QA tests.
• Excellent communications skills and technical documentation ability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement improvements for COMINT/EW and Counter-UAS products.
• Modify software and add new features.
• Spec to test and qualify hardware components.
• Develop automated QA test software.
• Create and modify installation programs and product docs.
• Support engineering and sales with technical material and demonstrations.
• Provide end-user support and gather feedback for product improvements.
• Stay current with new tech and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across global offices.
• Foster knowledge sharing of product capabilities.
