Job summary

SSATI (Sensible Solutions and Technology), Inc. seeks a RF Software Engineer Level 3 with TS/SCI w/Polygraph to support SIGINT systems. The role requires deep DSP algorithm development experience and strong C++/Python/Linux skills in a Linux environment.

The candidate will contribute to complex software systems across requirements analysis, design, development, integration, and testing for a Top-Secret program in Hanover, MD. Security clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret/SCI with polygraph is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline; 4 years experience may substitute for degree; 2 years with MS in Engineering/CS.
• Twelve (12) years' experience as a DSP Algorithm developer.
• Twelve (12) years' experience with C++, Linux, Python, or similar development language; C++ work within last 10 years.
• Experience with development in a Linux environment.
• Experience with Python and C++.
• Active IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 certified (Security+) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex software systems based on requirements.
• Review and test software components; document test results.
• Resolve software problem reports and improve documentation.
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add features.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or environments.
• Develop data queries for databases or repositories.
• Write or review software and system documentation.
• Serve as team lead at applicable level.
• Design or implement complex database interfaces/queries.
• Develop algorithms to meet performance and functional standards.
• Assist with testing procedures for software components.
• Analyze system performance, requirements, and data usage to improve software.
