Job summary

Mini-Circuits is seeking a Senior Reliability Technician to provide advanced hands-on support to the Reliability Engineering team. You will execute qualifications, environmental stress tests, sample preparation, inspections, data collection, and failure analysis for RF and microwave components.

You will coordinate lab activities, monitor tests, maintain thorough records, and help guide junior technicians. Strong troubleshooting, attention to detail, and collaboration with Engineering, Quality,

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent required.
• 5-7 years of experience in electronics, reliability, or lab environment.
• Technical degree, certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute and coordinate reliability qualifications for new products and changes.
• Review test plans, procedures, and work instructions before testing.
• Prepare samples including labeling, serialization, and inspection.
• Set up and monitor temperature cycling, HTOL, humidity, and vibration tests.
• Verify test conditions, chamber profiles, and data acquisition settings.
• Perform pre-test, interim, and post-test inspections and document results.
• Troubleshoot equipment, fixtures, and test boards; report issues.
• Maintain records of samples, serials, test conditions, and observations.
• Organize data and prepare summaries for engineering review.
• Support failure analysis with sample prep and coordination with labs.
• Coordinate with third-party labs on requirements and schedules.
• Operate environmental chambers, ovens, microscopes, and meters.
