RTX in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Senior RF Module Design/Development Engineer to join the RF Microelectronics/Module Development & Foundry Services team. You will design power combining structures and transitions for RF modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based MMIC products, supporting both production and next-generation development.

The role requires a strong background in RF/Microwave design, hands-on simulation using HFSS/ADS/CST, and collaboration across RF module design, MMIC design

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM field.
• 5+ years of Microwave/RF module design, analysis, and test.
• Hands-on electromagnetic simulation tools HFSS/ADS/CST.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design RF structures and transitions on multi-layer RF Modules and analog circuitry enabling both receive and transmit behavior.
• Perform 3D electromagnetic simulations of power combining and other RF structures.
• Troubleshoot RF Modules that are prototyped and under development.
• Collaborate across RF module design, MMIC design and assembly teams.
