Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced Principal RF Module Design/Development Engineer in Andover, MA. You will design power‑combining structures and transitions for GaAs/GaN MMIC products within on-site MMIC/module development. Expect close collaboration with MMIC design and assembly teams.

The role requires a strong RF/Microwave background, a BS in a STEM field, 8+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance. Active DoD Secret or higher clearance is desirable.

Qualifications

• BS degree in STEM field required.
• Eight or more years in Microwave/RF module design, analysis, and test.
• Hands-on experience with HFSS, ADS, CST.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design RF structures and transitions on multi-layer RF modules and analog circuitry.
• Perform 3D electromagnetic simulations of power combining and RF structures.
• Troubleshoot RF modules prototyped and in development.
• Collaborate with RF module design, MMIC design and assembly teams.
