Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Principal RF Design Engineer, Antennas, in the United States.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to develop mmWave phased array prototypes and design passive components using industry-standard tools such as AWR, CST, and HFSS. The role requires extensive RF/mmWave design experience, scripting in Python, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 12+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in RF/mmWave phased array components.
• Proficient with AWR, CST and HFSS.
• Experience testing RF and mmWave circuits and systems.
• Scripting experience in Python.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary team on mmWave phased array prototypes.
• Model RF components and transitions using AWR, CST or HFSS.
• Design passive circuit components (splitters, transformers, transmission lines).
• Assist BOM management and parts selection for cost and schedules.
• Support testing and troubleshooting of mmWave prototypes and circuits.
• Perform power integrity analysis on mmWave PCBs.
