Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager Design Engineering (RF/mm-Wave) in Texas to lead the RF/mm-wave Design team. You will oversee end-to-end NPD projects for MMIC, Multichip Module, and Discrete-based designs, interfacing with customers and cross-functional groups.

The role requires a BS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering and 12+ years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in an engineering design management position. A US security clearance is mandatory.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years in III-V MMIC design, RFIC design, multichip module design, or RF/Microwave system design.
• If Master's degree then 8+ years required; if PhD then 5+ years.
• 3+ years as an Engineering Design Manager of RF/Microwave components or equipment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be self-motivated with strong leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage members of the RF/mm-wave Design team.
• Lead MMIC, Multichip Module, and/or Discrete-based NPD projects end-to-end.
• Interact with external customers and Sales Channel for new/legacy product support.
• Collaborate with Program Mgmt., Marketing & PLM, Test Eng, Applications, Package Eng., Quality, Device Eng., Modeling, and Manufacturing.
• Monitor performance of workflows to maximize productivity and minimize costs.
• Lead initiatives such as procedures, technology, or documentation initiatives.
• Assist with staffing and training activities.
