Job summary

SAIC in Crane, Indiana is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to design, develop, and implement testing methods and equipment for the EA18G FST, supporting the US Navy. You will contribute to test program sets and ensure accurate data collection and analysis.

Responsibilities include integrating test hardware and software, debugging, addressing test gaps, and writing procedures while validating RF and Microwave components such as VSWE, insertion loss, and phase matching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years of experience.
• Experience with LabVIEW, C (LabWindows/CVI) or C#.
• Interim secret clearance required to start; SAIC will sponsor the clearance.
• U.S. Citizen required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate test hardware and software for new test program sets of receiver systems.
• Debug existing test hardware and software.
• Identify and address test gaps and escapes between assembly levels.
• Write test procedures and update documentation.
• Test RF and Microwave components including VSWE, insertion loss, Phase Matching and Noise Figure.
