Job summary

MACOM is seeking a Production Test Technician 4 in Lowell to test RF/Microwave devices and perform DC tests on diode devices according to test plans. The role involves configuring test setups, troubleshooting stations, and maintaining test fixtures to support production needs.

Collaboration with engineering and a focus on calibration, 6S, and safety are required. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in manufacturing testing, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience with RF/DC

Qualifications

• 4 - 6 years experience in manufacturing testing.
• Follow oral and written guidelines and read spec sheets & test plans.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Detail oriented with strong accuracy.
• Good computer skills, especially SAP and MS Office.
• Knowledge of RF & DC measurements and ESD procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on RF/Microwave devices per test plans.
• Perform DC testing on diode devices per test plans.
• Set up manual and automatic test configurations for pass/fail tests.
• Troubleshoot test stations and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain and manage test fixtures inventory for production needs.
• Collaborate with engineering to assemble and validate new test fixtures.
• Perform rework and repairs on damaged fixtures to restore functionality.
• Ensure lab equipment remains within calibration cycle to meet ISO requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per 6S principles.
