Job summary

Vanteon Corporation is seeking a senior Hardware Design Engineer to develop high-speed digital, RF, and microwave circuits. The role requires hands-on design, analysis, and on-site presence at our Western NY facility.

The ideal candidate has 10 years of hardware design experience, RF/MW expertise, and strong communication and leadership skills to mentor juniors and collaborate across teams. A BS. in EE with MS preferred is expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 10+ years hardware design experience with RF design background preferred.
• On-site work in Western NY with hybrid scheduling based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design simulations, specifications, and board layout.
• Board-level high-speed digital design and schematic capture.
• Create schematics and layouts for high-pitch-count devices (BGAs).
• Develop detailed designs and technical documentation.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Support sales with project estimates and technical input.
• Collaborate with other engineers on design and integration.
