Job summary

Vanteon is seeking Hardware Design Engineer roles at senior levels to develop high-speed digital, RF, and microwave circuits. Roles require on-site work at our Western NY facility to support wireless systems in the 130 MHz to 6 GHz range.

Responsibilities include board layout, schematic capture, system architecture, and documentation. Mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with Sales are part of the role; MS preferred for advanced levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• MS preferred for advanced roles.
• Experience in high-speed PCB design and RF engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design simulations, specifications, and board layout.
• Board-level high-speed digital design and schematic capture.
• Create designs and layouts for high-pitch-count devices (BGAs).
• Develop digital system architecture and partitioning.
• Analyze systems to develop requirements specifications.
• Produce detailed designs and technical documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training.
• Provide project estimates and sales support; collaborate with engineers.
