Job summary

Vanteon is seeking RF Hardware Design Engineers (Senior-Levels) to develop high-speed digital, RF, and microwave circuits and to analyze wireless systems in 130 MHz to 6 GHz. On-site presence at the Western NY facility is required for success.

Role includes design, simulation, documentation, mentoring, and collaboration with a team of engineers. Requires strong RF, PCB, and EMC experience and leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering; MS preferred.
• 10 years hardware design experience with 5+ years RF design.

Responsibilities

• RF design simulations, design specifications, and board layout.
• Board-level high-speed digital design and schematic capture.
• Digital system architecture development & partitioning.
• Analyze systems for developing system requirement specifications.
• Develop detailed designs and technical documentation.
• Provide training and mentoring to junior-level engineers.
• Provide project estimates and technical support for the sales process.
• Collaborate with other engineers in design and integration efforts.
