Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond, WA seeks a Sr. RF/Microwave engineer to develop RFICs, MMICs, RF modules, and SiP solutions for Starlink satellites and ground infrastructure. You will design, test, and characterize RF components and systems spanning cellular to mmWave bands.

Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years RF/microwave design required; Master’s/PhD preferred. SpaceX offers stock, 401(k), health benefits, generous PTO, and shuttle service from Seattle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of RF/microwave circuit design experience.
• Master’s degree or PhD in RF/microwave disciplines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design RF/microwave circuits, MMICs, and RF modules for Starlink systems.
• Test RF components in lab and verify performance.
• Develop hardware (PCBAs, test fixtures) and procure test equipment.
• Define RF block specifications and work with production/test teams.
• Collaborate with manufacturing engineers on production test and debug.
