Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical field (required).
• AS degree in Drafting, Design, or similar (preferred).
• Senior-level experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent (required).
• Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling, dimensioning, and GD&T tolerancing (required).
• Altium/board layout experience (advantage).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required).
• Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software.
• Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation.
• Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards.
• Become proficient in software tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, PDM, Vault, Altium, PADs, and MasterControl.
• Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control.
• Operate plotters, printers, and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings.
• Interface effectively with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels.
