Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a senior drafting specialist to create precise layouts for mission-critical RF and microwave components. You will work in a collaborative team, producing 2D and 3D drawings, supporting large projects, and ensuring compliance with standards.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years of drafting experience, proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor, and knowledge of GD&T. A preferred AS degree and strong communication skills will help you succeed in this on-site

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in drafting, design, or related technical field.
• AS degree in Drafting, Design, or similar (preferred).
• Senior-level experience with SolidWorks, Inventor, or equivalent (required).
• Knowledge of mechanical drafting/modeling, dimensioning, and GD&T tolerancing (required).
• Altium/board layout experience (advantage).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills (required).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (required).
• Must be a U.S. Person (includes U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees)

Job Description

Create precision designs for mission-critical RF and microwave products. What you’ll do

• Prepare detailed layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D and 3D software
• Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation
• Check drawings for compliance with internal and industry standards
• Become proficient in software tools such as SolidWorks, Inventor, PDM, Vault, Altium, PADs, and MasterControl
• Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and incorporate Engineering Change Orders (ECOs)
• Prepare drawings from rough sketches or general instructions and maintain revision control
• Operate plotters, printers, and scanners to produce hard-copy drawings
• Interface effectively with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels

Salary Range:

$50,600.00-$67,500.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
