Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a skilled draft/design professional in Rancho Cordova, CA to create precision mechanical drawings for RF/microwave products. You will produce detailed layouts using 2D/3D tools, support product structuring, and ensure compliance with standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–10 years of drafting experience, solid proficiency in SolidWorks or Inventor, GD&T know-how, and strong communication skills. U.S. person status and MS Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of drafting/design experience required.
• AS degree in Drafting or Design preferred.
• Senior-level SolidWorks or Inventor experience required.
• Knowledge of mechanical drafting, GD&T tolerancing is required.
• Altium/board layout is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and communication skills are essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.
• U.S. Person status is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed 2D/3D layouts and drawings of mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Support larger projects involving product structuring and documentation.
• Check drawings for compliance with internal/industry standards.
• Become proficient in SolidWorks, Inventor, PDM, Vault, Altium, PADs, MasterControl.
• Facilitate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and ECOs.
• Prepare drawings from rough sketches and maintain revision control.
• Operate plotters, printers, scanners to produce hard-copy drawings.
• Interface with engineers, program managers, and staff at all levels.
