Job summary

RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, seeks a Principal Systems RF/Hardware Engineer to advance RF ground system engineering for satellite communications. This onsite role in Colorado requires an active TS/SCI with CI Poly and U.S.

citizenship, with responsibilities spanning design, testing, and system modernization. You will troubleshoot complex systems, analyze diagnostic data, and support operations, including travel and after-hours support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8+ years engineering experience.
• Experience supporting RF ground systems for satellite communications.
• Active TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, document, and resolve system outages and other issues during operation.
• Collect diagnostic data and document problems for logging and discrepancy reporting.
• Provide support for data storage, retrieval, and analysis for troubleshooting.
• Use oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers to troubleshoot and modify equipment.
• Assist in concept of operations and system architecture recommendations.
• Occasional travel CONUS/OCONUS and emergency repair trips with little notice.
• Provide occasional after-hour call-in support and work at heights for antenna/tower training.
