Job summary

DoorDash Labs seeks a Senior RF Engineer to join the autonomous platforms team in San Francisco, CA. You will design, validate, and optimize RF/mixed-signal PCBAs, lead EMI mitigation, and perform OTA tests to ensure reliable operation across LTE, 5G, Wi‑Fi, GNSS, and UWB.

This in-person role offers deep exposure to RF design, system integration, and cross‑functional collaboration with a senior robotics team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with RF focus.
• 6+ years designing RF hardware for consumer products.
• Experience with high‑speed interfaces: MIPI CSI/DSI, PCIe, DDR, SDIO/eMMC.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF, mixed-signal, and mechanical domain solutions.
• Design RF hardware and wireless testbeds for system validation.
• Mentor teams on EMI mitigation and cross‑functional debugging.
• Characterize EMI from internal/external sources with EMC probes and shielding tests.
• Conduct lab and OTA testing across LTE, 5G NR, Wi‑Fi, GNSS.
• Perform EM simulations using CST, HFSS, ADS.
