Job summary

Amphenol CDI, based in Cerritos, CA, seeks a Senior Applications Engineer to act as the technical authority for RF/microwave solutions and lead customer engagements from concept to production, translating requirements into viable product designs.

You will provide system-level guidance, collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Development, and Marketing, and mentor the team while delivering technical wins and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 7–10 years in applications/field engineering in high-rel markets.
• Strong customer-facing experience including design-in and presentations.
• Experience with CAD tools, signal integrity or test equipment desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority across CDI product portfolio for RF/microwave.
• Lead customer engagement from concept through production and design wins.
• Provide system-level guidance to optimize performance and integration.
• Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, Product Development and Marketing.
• Mentor team members and develop technical collateral.
