Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. seeks an experienced electrical engineer to support Navy and NRL programs in RF/radar and DSP. You will model, simulate, and test radar subsystems, evaluate component specifications, and work with RF prototype boards.

Occasional outdoor testing at test ranges is expected. The role requires 8+ years in RF/radar or DSP, a BS in Electrical Engineering, and a DoD secret clearance. Proficiency in MATLAB, with Python/C++ preferred, and familiarity with Windows/Linux environments

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance active or within 24 months prior to hire.
• 8+ years of experience with RF/radar systems and/or digital signal processing in an engineering role.
• Proficient in MATLAB; Python and C++ preferred.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS environments; MS Office Suite.
• Sitting/standing at test benches; occasional outdoor testing at ranges.

Responsibilities

• Design/develop RF/radar systems and DSP components for Navy/NRL projects.
• Modeling/simulation of radar and RF subsystems.
• Research electronic components specifications and availability.
• Work with PCBs for RF prototype systems.
• Perform performance measurements using multi-meters, scopes, spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
• Develop and follow measurement/test procedures and document results.
• Occasional outdoor prototype testing at local sites and ranges.
