Job summary

TalentHammer is seeking an experienced RF Engineer III to lead as a project engineer for RF products including oscillators, CPSUs, frequency converters and amplifiers for commercial space customers in Camarillo, CA.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in RF/Microwave, strong RF theory knowledge, and hands-on experience with ADS or Microwave Office. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent related experience.
• Minimum 5 years in RF/Microwave industry.
• Experience with RF oscillator design and ultra-low phase noise performance.
• Strong knowledge of RF principles and matching techniques.
• Experience with RF lab equipment, testing, and design verification.
• Experience reviewing design docs (schematics, BOMs, test procedures).
• Mentorship of junior engineers and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of complex RF products, focusing on oscillator products.
• Analyze customer requirements and provide design proposals and trade-offs.
• Estimate total costs, lead time, and quoting for new products.
• Independently complete RF system and circuit design.
• Support analog control circuitry designs and temperature compensation.
• Create test data sheets and support integration and test.
• Mentor junior engineers in RF design and analysis.
• Invent new technologies and improve processes.
• Lead multiple projects across different phases of development.
