Job summary

Lucix Corporation, a subsidiary of HEICO's Electronic Technologies Group, seeks an experienced RF Engineer III to lead RF product design and development for space-related systems. You will drive oscillator-focused design, perform system-level analysis, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating across engineering teams in California.

The role requires 5+ years in RF/MW, strong impedance matching knowledge, and proficiency with ADS or Microwave Office/AWR; OrCAD familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years in RF/MW industry with oscillator design knowledge.
• Strong RF theory knowledge and impedance matching expertise.
• Experience with RF simulation, design, test and realization.
• Proficient with ADS or Microwave Office/AWR; familiar with OrCAD.
• Experience in RF board-level design and lab testing.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and mentor juniors.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF product design and development with emphasis on oscillators.
• Analyze requirements and provide design trade-offs and proposals.
• Estimate costs, lead times, and development effort for quotes.
• Perform RF system and circuit design and testing of prototypes.
• Support analog control circuitry and temperature compensation.
• Ensure regulatory and environmental compliance throughout development.
• Create design documentation and BOMs; mentor junior engineers.
