Job summary

Lucix Corporation, a leader in RF units for space payloads, seeks an experienced RF Engineer III in California. Lead design of oscillators, CPSUs, frequency converters, and amplifiers for commercial space customers. Mentors engineers and drives RF product development from proposal to production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in RF/Microwave industry with oscillator design.
• Experience with RF board layout, impedance matching, and NF/stability.
• Proficiency with RF simulation, test, and realization.

Responsibilities

• Lead RF product design with focus on oscillator products.
• Analyze requirements and propose design trades.
• Create detailed design proposals and quotes with costs.
• Design RF system and circuits end-to-end.
• Support analog control circuits (voltage regulation, gain, LCL).
• Assess compliance for electrical/mechanical/environmental rules.
• Mentor junior engineers in RF design and analysis.
• Tune, test, and report on prototypes and models.
• Prepare test data sheets and support I&T.
• Develop new technologies and methods as needed.
