Job summary

V2X Inc in Norfolk, VA, seeks a Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to support a U.S. government customer onsite. The role requires an active Top Secret clearance and hands-on expertise with RF, C4ISR, and IT systems aboard Navy platforms.

As a senior technical advisor, you will troubleshoot RF communications, coordinate with shipboard technicians and Navy staff, document issues, and help with system operation, verification testing, and deployments up to 8–12 weeks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of DoD Navy radio system experience.
• 6+ years of DoD enterprise or Navy networks experience.
• 6+ years of troubleshooting Naval communications ashore/ afloat.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Technical Advisor to Strike Group Staff N6 and advise on RF comms and optimization.
• Coordinate with shipboard technicians, ISEA, RMC and others to ensure end-to-end connectivity.
• Document issues and resolutions, provide reports to Fleet Readiness Directorate.
• Provide OJT and mentor Navy/civilian technicians as needed.
• Assist with system inspections and SOVT preparation.
• Work independently in a high tempo environment with 8–12 week deployments.
